LinkedIn is a primary tool used by many Sourcers today. However, fewer than 15% of working professionals have an active, up-to-date LinkedIn profile. Do you know where to look to find the rest?
Unless the professionals you are trying to find have informative LinkedIn profiles, containing all the right keywords to pre-qualify them, you are likely missing 90% of the information that can be found using other websites.
In this interactive session, we will guide participants in a hands-on session exploring every major method to find professionals outside of LinkedIn. This class takes you through the process of identifying and mining data-rich sites across target industries, roles, and geographies. It teaches you how to find and extract candidate details from professional associations, discussion forums, and specialty social networks (leveraging X-Ray and deep web searches).
The class also touches on cross-referencing partial information found on one site, to find more details elsewhere (including contact information). Using the techniques from this class will also help you identify relevant background information about candidates, to warm up cold calls and emails.
Participants are encouraged to bring their most challenging searches to the Workshop.
