Did you know that searching in images can quadruple your Google search results?
Many sourcers and recruiters use Google to find potential candidates, but few use Google Image search. Those who do not may be missing up to 75% of the possible results for their searches!
As our recent research shows, for a given site: (X-Ray) search of LinkedIn profiles, Google searches rarely provide more than 300 results. Google Images, however, can produce close to 1,000 results for the same search, with minimal overlap. Running your search in both Google and Google Images returns four times as many results as Google alone. The same is true for searches on Bing, as well.
In addition to the increased results, image searches provide added details, make diversity sourcing more straightforward, and validate your search strings. You can even use reverse image searches to help find company employees, school grads, group members, and certification holders on LinkedIn. The value of image search isn't limited to LinkedIn, either. We have found that many social sites like Facebook provide image data, which we can use to search for teams' photos and other useful results.
This newly designed course will teach you many efficient ways to include image searches in your sourcing.
