Healthcare professionals are in high demand, and they can be challenging to find and engage with online compared to workers in other industries. Many allied health professionals do not have a presence on LinkedIn, and those who do may have incomplete profiles. Even physicians, who are more likely to be on LinkedIn, often do not respond to messages.

Thankfully, there are numerous strategies for identifying and engaging healthcare workers, and we will cover the latest best practices in this two-part course. Join us for an in-depth exploration of the most effective ways to use online sources to find and connect with healthcare professionals such as Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Therapists, and other allied health workers.

On Day 1, we focus on a series of sites (and categories of sites, like directories and licensing registries) that provide bulk information about professionals. Learning to identify and explore these resources will provide you with a comprehensive map of the healthcare talent market in your target locations and an excellent starting point for building your prospect lists.

On Day 2, we review core research techniques, including how we determined which sites to include on Day 1. We start with Google-based research to identify key search terms, names of employers, credentials, and more. Then we review how to put those terms together into effective Google and LinkedIn searches, including useful hacks to help you find those healthcare professionals who are on LinkedIn more easily. Finally, we review how to identify and gather contact information (or avenues) and how to send effective messages to your newfound prospects.
